Biografie

Federico Grazzini // Firenze, TENAX REC.

http://www.facebook.com/federicograzzini - http://www.myspace.com/federicograzzini

It’s the wicked combination of energy, music and great technical skills that distinguish Federico Grazzini from other artists. Deep in the mix, taking house and techno onto a strong funk influenced ride, he is creating dancing space, wherever he travels.

Playing peak time makes him most happy, he loves the rush of energy, especially, when putting on his own unreleased tracks. However long the sessions, building up the groove and leading the crowd from early hours to finish is certainly enjoyed too. He definitely loves vinyl, but hasn’t closed the door for digital equipment, as it allows him to raise the quality of his performance.

Tenax studio, where Federico finds inspiration and finalizes his tracks is located quite offside, by the Arno river in Florence. It’s now been a couple of years since he’s joined forces with Alex Neri and Marco Baroni (Planet Funk) and has resulted in remarkable production work.

His favorite summer venue is without doubt Gala Night in Ibiza, where he remains in tight collaboration with The Zoo Project. In the winter Federico is mostly concentrating on creating his own music and playing infamous Italian clubs, such as Tenax or Goa.

In summer 2009 he is on stage with Planet Funk.

Mirko Forte // http://www.myspace.com/mirkoforte

Mirko Forte felt truly in love with Techno music about 10 years ago, at first just as an admiror and listener, but soon he and his friend, found a dj duo project, under the name of MAK'N-Tech.

The project got immediatly the attention of local producers and party organizers and got immediatly booked for parties in the North-eastern Italy and for some of the greatest clubs in Slovenia, such as Ambasada Gavioli, In Box, Marco Polo....

Obviously all this because of the unique, addictive, sophisticated sound and thrilling sets that they had to offer to the crowds, absolutely going mad about it!! At the present moment, Mirko is a resident dj in an important club: Mirò international, located in Lignano , Italy. This gives him the opportunity to enrich his music experiences, by playing side by side with the world's famous artist, such as Speedy J , Glen Wilson, Silicone Soul, Oxia, Tomy DeClerque, Markantonio, Petar Dundov, Umek..

Mirko's infinite passion and musical research..is bringing him far, but his unique style so energic and at the same time so precise and crystal clear, won't let you leave the dancefloor... until you drop, begging him for mercy! In 2009 Mirko has started a new producing project with Diego Trani ( http.//www.myspace.com/diegotech ), a very skilled and talented producer.

So ladies and gentleman, get ready to get curious and unpatient about hearing this great talent playing live!! Great expectations and pleasant surprises will blossom in your ears, developing into a multi-sensorial experience, from head to toe.

BQ-RAM // http://www.soundcloud.com/bqram

BQ:RAM are a duo of Italian djs and electronic music producers. Their experience as selecters in clubs and underground events deeply influenced their first LP (Unspoken, SVP, 2007), a fully instrumental trip into downtempo, breakbeat and post – hop music driven by the concept of unconsiousness and music painting the absence of spoken words. The critically acclaimed debut album was followed by a long tour around Italy with more than 40 shows in which dj sets and selections (mainly hip hop and electro oriented) introduced an original showcase where tracks of the LP were re-arranged and remixed live through laptops, samplers and fx boards. BQ:RAM are now promoting their second LP (Blue Sand City, SVP, 2010) a complex work which features appeareances by many underground artists of the Italian and International hip hop scene (El Da Sensei, Punchiline, Raashan Ahmad, Bisco Smith, Tormento, Al Castellana).

In this second work, BQ:RAM have followed two main paths of their original influences: electro on the one side and soul/jazzy on the other, switching from dark underground tracks (“Feed Me” ft. Bisco Smith) to smooth and classic golden era hip hop tracks (“Classy” ft. El da Sensei), still caring about the fully instrumentals shade of their music (“Blue Sand City”, “Journey to Saturn”, “Magic Words”).

In just three months, Blue Sand City has turned out as an European Hip Hop Classic. Distributed on Itunes and sold through the most important European Hip Hop retail store (HHV.de), the critically acclaimed lp has gained positive feedbacks from Korea to Portugal, being labeled as a proof that good music and hip hop can still walk together
